Trump has inserted the military in both LA and DC. He now plans to deploy them in Chicago because it is a “Killing Field”. I don’t agree with his showmanship, tactics and lies about the severity of the problem. Common sense would say spend the money on the police force and judges.

There is a much more effective way to stop violence! Gun Control. With Trump’s disregard for the constitution, he could declare an emergency and with his sharpie sign an executive order that:

• Outlaws all automatic guns
• Closes all gun shops
• Dry up all sources of ammo
• Makes it illegal for private citizens to sell/trade/gift guns
• Outlaws gun shows
• Makes it illegal to own any guns with a buyback program
• Etc…..

Of course, there’s too much money in the gun lobby and the gun nut voters to make this a reality. One can only dream that Trump would use his “kingly” powers to actually stop the killing fields.
